The coal trains slide forever across the plains of Wyoming and Nebraska. The train seems never to end. It is an impressive sight to see the coal trains dominate the horizon as one drives along highway I80. Big as the train is, it is but a small part of the complex chain of mining, moving, and using coal to generate power.
