PERTHMicromine, the leading provider of innovative software solutions and services to the mining and exploration industry, has added another award to their expanding list of accolades at the 2009 WA Industry and Export Awards.

Winners for each category were announced at a gala dinner held last Friday 2 October 2009, at the Hyatt Regency in Perth.

At this event, Micromine was announced as winner of the C.Y.O’Connor Award for Excellence in Engineering.

In a region comprised of a significant number of high calibre organisations specialising in technology and engineering solutions, Micromine faced considerable competition in securing this award.

The Industry and Export awards are the State’s most prestigious business awards, which aim to acknowledge the role played by businesses in contributing to the economy through job creation and increased prosperity in the community.

Upon receiving this award, Micromine CEO, Peter Rossdeutscher said “We are so proud to receive another prestigious award. We are thrilled that the company has again been recognised for the quality of our solutions and the large part played by Micromine in the global mining and exploration services industry.”

Rossdeutscher continues “Our success continues to be a combined effort where a team of dedicated professionals work closely with industry, government and clients. Our seamless approach and uniform set of goals has helped ensure that we are all working towards the same objective of improving mining methods through technology.”

In 2008, Micromine was also successful in being awarded the C.Y.O’Connor Award for Excellence in Engineering and Technology. In winning this award for consecutive years, Micromine has reconfirmed its position as a leader in the provision of quality mining and exploration solutions to the global marketplace.
