There is an interesting group called the Coalition for Eco Efficient Comminution (CEEC). CEEC is a not-for-profit company funded by grants from the mineral industry. According to their website, they were "established by a visionary group of mining industry leaders, who recognised the need to provide a platform for effective communication of the latest technical findings on efficient comminution practices."

Their mission and objective includes “raising awareness of research findings, alternative comminution strategies and installed outcomes. To accelerate information, knowledge and technology transfer with the objective of lower processing costs and reduced carbon footprint as a result of improved comminution practices.”

Some of their sponsors include AMEC Minproc, Ausenco, Gekko Systems, Metso, and Teck.

On their website you can find a list of consultants, researchers, and other comminution specialists. You can also find papers and presentations related to comminution, as well as press articles and media releases.

They also have a medal they give out annually. The CEEC Medal is given to the author(s) of the best published paper, article or case study that examines beneficial strategies to make comminution eco-efficient.
